Love Endures All – Front Row Seat

December 16, 2019 • Leave a Comment

LOVE ENDURES ALL

Sitting at Lauren and Stringers after the procedure I begin to write on my computer.  The drop down for wifi appears.  Lauren and Stringers wifi name is “tellmywifeiloveher.”

1 Corinthians 13:7

Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance

In an article I found it said this about love enduring all:

“When LOVE ENDURES ALL we remain in difficult situations for the sake of one another rather than seeking our own ease through escape.

We are willing to take a FRONT ROW SEAT for each other.  We are willing to go through whatever we have to go through, the good, the bad and the ugly to see the other person through until the completion of hardship.  We are taking the long-term perspective, not the short term in and out- I’ll pray for you.”

We are willing to take a FRONT ROW SEAT and endure for each other.  Isn’t that what Jesus did?  He took center stage.  Jesus didn’t have the choice whether he wanted in the A row or the J Row.  He didn’t have a choice whether he wanted in the orchestra section or the balcony.  He took center stage for us.   Jesus actually moved us to the audience, and he took our place on center stage for our sins.  He loved us that much that he would be front and center that he would be seen that he would take the torment he would endure because he loved us that much- love endures all.

Just like Jesus some of us don’t have a choice what row we are in.

Many times it is difficult to have a front row seat.  To see a loved one hurting.  Can you imagine what it was like to all of those that had a front row seat when Jesus was being crucified?

Wouldn’t we rather have a front row seat at his birth vs his crucifixion.  All of us would rather have a front row seat when things are going well than when things are not so good.  Which leads to another point.  It is when things aren’t so good that we take row T in the far back of the balcony but isn’t this when we need to show others that LOVE ENDURES ALL?  Isn’t this when we should be front and center in the FRONT ROW SEAT?  How come we want our children to be front row in a program, but we don’t want to sit on the front row?

To take a FRONT ROW SEAT you must endure for someone because LOVE ENDURES ALL.

When I read that sentence the first thing I think of is Mary.  Mary had the front row seat a front row seat that she didn’t choose but she agreed to.  She had a front row seat as she watched her son and the miracles He performed.  She had a FRONT ROW SEAT as He carried His cross.  Why did she?  Because LOVE ENDURES ALL!

During this Christmas season take a FRONT ROW SEAT for someone no matter how tough the situation there are some people that don’t get to choose their seat but we can share the seat with them  because LOVE ENDURES ALL!

CHALLENGES OF THE WEEK

Great poem:

Everyone Can’t be in your front row

Submitted By: Sonia ~ Scrapbookin Mama

Life is a theater so invite your audiences carefully. Not everyone is holy enough and healthy enough to have a FRONT ROW seat in our lives.
There are some people in your life that need to be loved from a distance.

It’s amazing what you can accomplish when you let go, or at least minimize your time with draining, negative, incompatible, not-going-anywhere relationships, friendships, fellowships and family!
Everyone Can’t be in Your FRONT ROW.

Observe the relationships around you. Pay attention to: Which ones lift and which ones lean?
Which ones encourage and which ones discourage?
Which ones are on a path of growth uphill and which ones are just going downhill?

When you leave certain people, do you feel better or feel worse?
Which ones always have drama or don’t really understand, know and appreciate you and the gift that lies within you?
Everyone Can’t be in Your FRONT ROW.

The more you seek God and the things of God, the more you seek quality, the more you seek not just the hand of God but the face of God, the more you seek things honorable, the more you seek growth, peace of mind, love and truth around you, the easier it will become for you to decide who gets to sit in the FRONT ROW and who should be moved to the balcony of your life.
Everyone Can’t be in Your FRONT ROW.

You cannot change the people around you…but you can change the people you are around!
Ask God for wisdom and discernment and choose wisely the people who sit in the FRONT ROW of your life.

Remember that FRONT ROW seats are for special and deserving people and those who sit in your FRONT ROW should be chosen carefully.
Everyone Can’t be in Your FRONT ROW

Hebrews 12 NIV

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so entangles.  And let us run this race with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus.
