I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a wife, mom, Cupcake-what my grandkids call me, educator, author, motivator, encourager, entrepreneur, thinker, fixer, perfectionist, and so much more—simply trying to discover what I’m truly meant to do in this life.
After a profound ah-ha moment, I realized that all I truly need to do is follow God’s lead—even though I sometimes struggle to stay on course. My mission is to guide others toward Him and help bring peace and joy in a chaotic world.
Join me as we pursue God’s will for our lives together, embracing each step of the journey with open hearts.
1 Peter 4:10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
After raising three daughters, Jay and I have been blessed with ten wonderful grandchildren: Barrett, Dylan, Max, Eva, Jack, Sutton, John Douglas, Kate, Coker, and Mary Jean. There’s never a dull moment at our house!
I serve as the president and founder of Personal Pep Rally, a nonprofit dedicated to educating, encouraging, and motivating cancer patients and their families. Each month, we send over 900 joy mail packages to more than 138 cities in Arkansas and 42 states. We also award scholarships to high school seniors affected by cancer. We learned firsthand that cancer patients need people to show up for them—just as so many did for us after our son-in-law, Marc Stringer, was diagnosed with cancer in 2016. Although Marc passed away in 2020, his legacy continues to bless others facing diagnoses they never chose.
In my spare time, I dedicate myself to serving others. I sit on the boards of the Arkansas American Cancer Society, CARTI Foundation, and Easterseals of Arkansas; I am also a member of the Gloves Not Guns Board and serve as Worship Chairman at FMC Stuttgart. You’ll often find me volunteering at various community and statewide events.
I was honored to receive Stuttgart’s 2024 Citizen of the Year award, a distinction my mother received fifty years ago. I love our community deeply and hope to continue blessing it through my volunteer efforts.
I learned long ago that God wants us to use our gifts and talents, so let’s do just that—and give Him the glory!
