TRANSFUSE:to transfer or pass from one to another (just like a blood transfusion, blood enters the body)
Katie found these neato infusion pitchers. You place your fruit in the center and then add water. At first, you can’t taste the fruit, but over time the fruit infuses into the water. It gives you needed qualities from the fruit with each drink.
You can infuse water, you can infuse people, you can infuse the body, but you should want to be infused with Christ, therefore, transfusing Christ to others.
2 Corinthians 3:18 New International Version (NIV)
18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate[a] the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
One of the themes of 2 Corinthians is that a believer in Jesus Christ is a new creation. The old has moved on and you have a relationship with Christ. Becoming more like Christ is a progressive experiencethat leads you into being are representative of Christ.
To become a new creation, we come to God with UNVEILED FACES and an OPEN HEART. What this scripture is saying is that we can read the bible for knowledge and laws; however, the way we should read the bible is to become transformed and more like Christ.
We come to God just as we are (unveiled), with all of our sin and sorrow. It is through His mercy and grace that we become transformed. The longer we dig into the word of God the more infused and saturated we will be.
Infusing is a gradually process. As it states in 2 Corinthians 3;18 “from one degree of glory to another.” While we are being infused to be a new creation we will still make mistakes but receiving His forgiveness will strengthen us and enable us to move forward and then transfuse to others.
God has been very clear that we are to share the word with others. Mark 16:15 better known as the great commission tells us “go into the ALL the world and preach the gospel to EVERY CREATURE.”

A Prayer for the Ephesians
14 For this reason, I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family[a] in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
When in union with Christ and through the Holy Spirit we will move pass the laws, rules and regulations and truly be infused in a relationship with Christ. It is then and only then that we are infused to be able to transfuse to others.

2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears,[a] we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.
When we spend time with Christ, we are infused with Him, and we will be like Him.
Steep- To saturate with or subject thoroughly to some strong or pervading influence
God’s word is like steeping tea. At first, we dip into the word, but the longer we immerse ourselves into it, the more knowledge we are infused with. The more we are embraced by the Holy Spirit. We are transformed. We are a strongly steeped tea full of the Holy Spirit. We will be rich in the flavor of His presence and others can see that. We will then and only then reflect the Holy Spirit becoming more like Christ.
In the Bible Simeonwas a man who had been steeped for a long period of time. Therefore, he was infused with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit revealed to Simeon that he would not die before seeing Christ. The spirit led Simon to the temple, and Simeon obeyed. Mary and Joseph arrived with Jesus and Simon had the privilege of holding Jesus. (Luke 2:25-35)
The question is- HOW STRONG DO YOU WANT TO BE? Sit every day and steep on God’s word.
Each time you steep your tea leaves will change. From the first steep to the last the flavor changes and we are infused. It is then and only then when we can transfuse to others.
